报告人简介：华东师大1987博士毕业(Supervisor: Cao Xihua , cosupervisors: Jianyi Shi, Jianpan Wang); 1988-1990, 美国Virginia大学博士后 (advisor: Leonard Scott); 1991-1993, 悉尼大学ARC研究员; 1993至今, 任南威尔斯大学讲师、资深讲师、副教授；华东师范大学紫 江讲座 教授 在国际数学重要学术刊物发表论文达50余篇，合著《Finite dimensional algebras and quanutm groups》. （在美国数学会的Mathematical Surveys and Monographs系列丛书第150卷出版）。自2000年以来任澳大利亚数学会杂志编委；2002年起任南威尔斯大学数学与统计学院分管研究生培养的主任。
报告摘要：Using the generators labelled by simple and sincere semisimple modules for the Ringel-Hall algebra of a cyclic quiver, we give a presentation for the degenerate Ringel-Hall algebra. This is achieved by establishing an isomorphism between the degenerate Ringel-Hall algebra and the generic extension monoid algebra. As an application, we show that both the degenerate Ringel-Hall algebra and the degenerate quantum affine $sl_n$ admit multiplicative bases.
