Tangent Groupoid is a smooth manifold whose smooth structure resembles the concentration phenomenon of heat kernel semigroup of Dirac operator. It is invented by Alain Connes to streamline the proof of the Atiyah-Singer index theorem. In this talk, I shall explain how a mild modification of tangent groupoid encodes the concentration in Lefschetz fixed point formula.

伊泽霖，博士毕业于美国宾夕法尼亚州立大学，现为南开大学陈省身数学研究所博士后。主要研究方向为非交换几何与指标理论。
