摘 要：For a family f:X----> Y of semi-stable curves of genus g>1 over a complex curve let s denote the number of fibres with a non-compact Jacobian and let t be the number of singular fibres with a compact Jacobian.If Y is the projective line, Sheng-Li Tan has shown that s+t > 4. We will present some generalizations of this formula, in particular under the additional assumption that the family of Jacobians is the universal family over a Shimura curve.
